Deepika Padukone at the launch of Yamaha Scooters

Two wheeler maker Yamaha today said it has roped in Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone as brand ambassador for its yet to be launched scooter in India, seeking to replicate rival Honda's success in the segment. Event was held at Hotel ITC Grand Central, in Parel, Mumbai.

Hiroyuki Suzuki, CEO and MD, India Yamaha Motors, interacted with the media and showered praise on Deepika Padukone and said: Being young, fit, sporty and stylish, Deepika has all the elements that our customers will subscribe to when they buy our scooters.” Check out 6 more images after the jump.
